While Rock Band: The Beatles and Guitar Hero 5 take the limelight, most gamers are beginning to forget that Rock Band 2 is still churning out new downloads. In a recent interview at the Emmys, Flight of the Conchords announced that three of their songs would soon be making their way onto the Rock Band store.

Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement are a fantastic acoustic comedy duo who have found great success in their live shows and TV series. They didn’t say which of their tracks would be chosen for Rock Band, but with a second studio album due in October I think they’ll be announcing them in the near future.
Everyone has their own favourite Conchords song, but I’m hoping for Business Time, Robots and Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros. If they’re popular enough, I’m hoping they’ll be able to release more from their album; so we can all ‘rock the party’!
